Jennifer Foley Hair Boutique was originally opened by Maureen Foley in 1949. She opened the doors of Foleys Hair Salon at the rear of her husband Jack Foley’s Pharmacy and very quickly built a great reputation in Clontarf and the wider area.
When Jennifer was eighteen and finished education she decided to join her brother Vincent working in the Hair Salon. Maureen sent both of them sent to work in first class salons in Dublin and London to gain further experience and to come back to the salon with fresh ideas in hair care and client service.
Maureen Foley’s legacy is that Jennifer and her staff constantly update their colour and cutting skills with regular courses at the top Academies in London and the States.
In 2010 when she was helping a close friend search for a good, natural looking and flattering wig, Jennifer realised there was a real need for a Personal Wig Specialist. A specialist who could not only source a suitable wig, but could also help with aftercare and regrowth. Jennifer’s trained professional service and gentle and discreet fitting in her private consultation room located at the Salon, has helped many clients through hair loss and recovery.
Maureen Foley believed in the comfort, care and service to the client and Jennifer is carrying on this tradition in the Salon, still at its original location at 63 Clontarf Road
